General
Please allow me to announce my Candidature for the
position of Flagbearer of our great SLPP and to seek your support in the
forthcoming Flagbearer Elections.
I am a registered member and Grand Chief Parton of the SLPP UK/IRELAND branch
and registered Chief Patron of SLPP National Secretariat. I am a firm believer
in the ‘One Country, One People philosophy’. I am committed to demonstrating
the highest level of accountability, commitment, integrity and reliability as
your FLAGBEARER
My involvement in activities pertaining to the SLPP dates back to 1977, as a
student in Sierra Leone, during the one-party APC government of Siaka Steven.
Although SLPP was not functional at that time, our resistance was based on the
“One country, One People” principle of our beloved party, the SLPP. I have been
loyal and continue to be in a quest to defend and subscribe fully to the
principles and values of the party.
I fervently believe that as Flagbearer of the party and President of Sierra
Leone, I will do my best to promote the
interests of the party at all times and
work with everyone to ensure that we achieve the ultimate goal of winning the elections and coming back
to Power in 2017 with a view to developing
our Country.
Given the opportunity, I will use my
knowledge, skills and experience to compliment my love for and commitment to
our party and country Sierra Leone, ensuring that we work together for The SLPP
to come back to power. This is an appeal for you to support me to develop our
party and our Country.
