Chief Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina (EMN)



Chief Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina (EMN) was born in Kenema on 28th of July 1973 to a modest couple Mrs. Elizabeth Kona Ndomahina of Pujehun descent and Honorable Ernest Reuben Ndomahina of Taiama, Moyamba District. His father was an elderly statesman and educationist who was the first Principal of Bo Teachers College. Prior to his death, Hon. ER Ndomahina faithfully served Sierra Leone as Minister ofEducation, Leader of the House of Parliament, and Resident Minister Southern Province. Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina is a young and vibrant gentleman who symbolizes the hopes and aspirations of ordinary Sierra Leonean youths, desiring upward socio-economic mobility through entrepreneurship.
EMN started his career from a humble beginning through Christ the King College (CKC), Government Secondary School Bo (Bo School), Taiama Secondary School, and St. Andrews Secondary School in Bo. He is an Alumni of the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone. He graduated with Technicians Diploma in Accounting (TDA) and subsequently BSc. Hon in Applied Accounting (2004).
In the popular call for national service after his sixth form, EMN constituted the Brigadier Maxwell Khobe trained militia that reinstated President Ahmed Tejan Kabbah’s SLPP led government when overthrown by the AFRC military junta. EMN started his profession as an Accountant and in 2010 became an entrepreneur in the hotel industry.He is currently the owner and CEO of Kona Group of companies and the President of EMN-FOWS. He is happily married to Jemima Esther Ndomahina, and a father of three children ( Kenyeh Ernestine, Mukeh Ernest and Nyakeh ErnestBeing groomed in politics from birth, EMN ideally started his political career in college with a portfolio in the National Union of Students (NUS). Upon graduation, he became a registered patron and later Chief patron of the prestigious Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP); contributing immensely towards party activities at constituency, district, regional and national levels.
EMN has now emerged as a flag bearer candidate of SLPP for the 2017/2018 national presidential election having wielded overwhelming approval from all classes of Sierra Leoneans especially the youth / young voices nation-wide. He is considered as strategic in uniting and reviving SLPP for landslide victory. He is also seen as an outstanding personality for the resurrection of the Sierra Leonean values contrary to the political misfortunes that continue to plague the country. EMN will undoubtedly revive the country’s economic profile and general standard of living through an appealing manifesto.
EMN’s vision is to ensure that every Sierra Leonean have equal opportunity and equal access to the wealth / resources of the land regardless of political orientation, religious creed, regional and tribal differences.
EMN represents the ordinary Sierra Leonean dream with courage, steadfastness and optimism for a bright and prosperous Sierra Leone; prioritizing national agenda above individualism, selfishness, and greed; placing premium on good governance and social justice.
